CIDP: Thank God It's Gone

CIDP attacked the nerves and muscles in Bob's neck,
making it impossible for him to hold his head up....
He had to have a monthly 5-day IV-IG infusion
of healthy blood plasma into his blood stream....
Even on "good days", he was weak and fatigued
and in chronic pain. The meds left him bloated and swollen.....
For the first time in four years, he can hold his
head high!!!

The neurologist says the trauma of the stroke
shocked the CIDP into remission.

Let's pray it stays that way!

Awesome to see Bob holding his head up high! Way to go!
And for the therapists.....may they be blessed with compassion and truly work from the place of loving kindness, because they WILL see Bob progress even more than they first thought!
Diane, trust your instincts about the swallow practice. You know what you're doing. Shun the therapist's paranoia.
